Etiologie (verwekkers)

  • Vrouwen
    • Gram-negatief: E. coli 66%, Proteus mirabilis 5%, Klebsiella pneumoniae 4% en andere gramnegatieven 14%.
    • Gram-positief: Enterococcus faecalis en Staphylococcus saprophyticus elk 3%, andere grampositieven 9%.
  • Mannen
    • Gram-negatief: E. coli 48%, P. mirabilis 6%, Pseudomonas spp. 6%, Acinetobacter spp. 6%, K. pneumoniae 3%en andere gramnegatieven 15%.
    • Gram-positief: Enterococcus spp. 9% en andere grampositieven 7%.
